Every MRZ check digit is recomputed on the server; a picture that fails the arithmetic is refused with a retake message (a blurry one with a hold-steady message). The photo is processed in memory and not stored. The issue date is not in the MRZ: ask the traveller for it. The result's title assumes an adult (use Mstr/Miss for a child).
